Hi Piter, blogging is definitely not my hobby - I'm pretty awful at doing this regularly, but I do want to spread the word about dealing with cancer.

Hi there John, and thank you. I was trying to view your website, but system wouldn't let me. Cancer can be terrifying if we allow it to, so that's why I advocate taking control.

Would like to know more about 'latest cancer news'.

Hi there Ruth, have just finished all my treatment for my second breast cancer in five years. You're right, it's all such a trauma, but my only antidote is to keep busy. The treatment (chemotherapy not radiotherapy) made me feel awful, but I always felt worse if I had time on my hands, so I tried to not to. Having three children and knowing they were worrying silently made me even more determined to stay 'up' even when I felt so low... putting a brave face on things and a smile did actually make me feel better too.

Are you OK?

It makes me so angry. Not your post but the fact that so many women, and obviously some men have to experience the trauma of breast cancer. I found your post when I was looking for secondary breast cancer. I thought it was worth a couple of minutes to read. The more we research, the more knowledge we have, the better prepared we are to fight, and beat, this disease.
